The invention belongs to the technical field of wireless communication, and in particular relates to a wireless communication system for multi-station/field shunting. The system comprises a central subsystem, a wireless relay subsystem, a terminal subsystem and IP channels, the central subsystem and the wireless relay subsystem are in communication connection with the terminal subsystem through IPchannels, the central subsystem is deployed at a remote dispatching center, a dispatching desk of the terminal subsystem is deployed at a dispatcher and a shunting area, and the wireless relay subsystem is deployed at a shunting operation station and an inter-station interval weak field intensity area. Through IP interconnected multi-channel machine coverage, wireless signal blind areas of a plurality of stations and intervals in a shunting or small running train serving as a range are eliminated; the engineering investment is saved; safety accidents in production can be effectively reduced,and traceability after an accident occurs is facilitated, so that effective measures are taken to guarantee safety production; and the effects of staff reduction and efficiency improvement can be achieved through centralized shunting operation management and driving commanding.
