The invention discloses an automatic tensioning type ore clamp device, and relates to the field of mechanical devices. The device comprises a hanging ring, a first pull rod, a second pull rod and an upper pull ring are hinged to a pin hole in the bottom of the hanging ring through a pin shaft, a lower pull ring is arranged below the upper pull ring, a spring is welded between the upper pull ring and the lower pull ring, the bottoms of the first pull rod and the second pull rod are hinged to a first clamping arm and a second clamping arm respectively, the first clamping arm and the second clamping arm are interacted to the lower pull ring, and the first clamping arm and the second clamping arm are hinged to a third pin hole in the bottom of the lower pull ring through a third pin shaft. According to the device, when a clamp falls and collides with a target ore, the included angle between the two pull rods is changed from small to large, an opening between the two clamping arms is changed from small to large, and the spring is changed from a tensioned state to a free state until the two clamping arms completely clamp the ore; and when the clamp clamps the ore and lifts the ore, the included angle between the pull rods is gradually reduced, and the spring is gradually tensioned, so that enough clamping force between the two clamping arms is guaranteed.
