The invention discloses a composite layer inner tube mounting method. An inner tube comprises a hub, an air valve and an outer tube, at least one inflation ring or a plurality of inflation rings are mounted in the outer tube, each inflation ring is provided with an inflation cavity. The method comprises the following specific steps: S101, inner tube mounting: the inflation rings are held to be 8-shaped or oval or triangular so that the diameters of the inflation rings are narrowed, and the inflation rings are inserted into the first inflatable cavity from the inner diameter of the outer tire for transverse installation; S102, the outer tire mounting: an inner tire is mounted on the inner surface of the first inflation cavity, the outer tire is mounted on the hub, and after mounting is completed in sequence, inflation is conducted through the first air valve.
