[Problem] To make it possible to generate electric power using an existing bicycle without decreasing the life of a tire. [Solution] This power generation device for bicycle comprises: a housing 52 configured to be supported on a frame 18 of a bicycle 10; a generator 54 attached to the housing 52; a battery 102 configured to be attached to the frame 18 and storing electric power generated by the generator 54; an annular rotation input member 81 which is rotatably disposed on the housing 52 so as to be arranged around a crank axis B constituting the central axis of rotation of a crank shaft 24and a crank arm 26 for a pedal of the bicycle 10, and which rotationally drives the generator 54; and a coupling member 90 coupling the rotation input member 81 to the crank shaft 24 or the crank arm26.
