The invention provides a hot knife actuated split nut type compression releasing device. The device comprises two hot knives, two heat transfer sleeves, a two-petal type split nut, a rope harness, a bearing bolt, a waveform elastic washer and a spherical washer which are arranged in a space defined by a top cover and a base. The two-petal type split nut is arranged in the center of the space defined by the top cover and the base; the two heat transfer sleeves are symmetrically fixed on two petals of the two-petal type split nut; one hot knife is arranged in each heat transfer sleeve; the ropeharness is wound on an outer surface of the two-petal type split nut and the outer surface of the heat transfer sleeve; and in the locking state, the two-petal type split nut and the heat transfer sleeve are tightly bound, the spherical washer and the waveform elastic washer are arranged in an area defined by the lower portion of the two-petal type split nut and the base, and the bearing bolt sequentially penetrates through the base, the waveform elastic washer and the spherical washer and then is connected with the two-petal type split nut. The device is reliable in locking and safe in release, and has characteristics of a low impact, no pollution, low energy consumption, a high bearing capacity and miniaturization.
