The invention relates to the technical field of railway speed reducers. The invention discloses a self-generating electromagnetic railway speed reducer. The speed reducer comprises a railway track andtrain wheels, a telescopic rod is arranged in the railway track; the surface of the telescopic rod is fixedly connected with a rack; the bottom of the telescopic rod is fixedly connected with a spring; a fixing rod is fixedly connected to the interior of the railway track, a gear is arranged on the surface of the fixing rod, a disc is fixedly connected to the surface of the gear, a permanent magnet is fixedly connected to the surface of the disc, a fixing device is fixedly connected to the outer side of the railway track, and a power generation solenoid is fixedly connected to the surface ofthe fixing device. According to the self-power-generation electromagnetic railway speed reducer, the railway track, the telescopic rod, the rack, the spring, the gear, the disc, the permanent magnet,the power generation solenoid, the electromagnet, the coil, soft iron and the train wheel are used in cooperation, and therefore a self-power-generation electromagnetic field can hinder movement of the train wheel.
