The invention discloses a detection method for strand breakage of an elevator traction steel belt. The detection method comprises the steps that strands of steel wire ropes are subjected to short connection in pairs at the tail end of the traction steel belt through a steel wire clamp, and the head end of the traction steel belt is connected with a detection device; the detection device sequentially sends a pulse signal to each strand of steel wire rope and detects the pulse width, the period and the pulse number of echo signals of other strands of steel wire ropes; the error percentage of each echo signal of the strand of steel wire rope to the sent corresponding pulse signal is calculated; and the error percentage is compared with a preset threshold value, whether the error percentage iswithin a normal range or not is judged, if yes, it is judged that the steel wire rope corresponding to the received pulse signal is not broken, and if not, it is judged that the steel wire rope corresponding to the received pulse signal is broken. The detection device for strand breakage of the elevator traction steel belt comprises a micro-control unit, protection devices and a pulse collector,wherein the pulse collector collects the echo signals sent by the micro-control unit and transmits the echo signals to the micro-control unit. The detection method and detection device for strand breakage of the elevator traction steel belt have the advantages of high detection efficiency and good detection effect.

    本发明公开一种电梯曳引钢带断股检测方法,包括:将曳引钢带的尾端使用钢丝夹使得各股钢丝绳两两短接,曳引钢带的首端连接检测装置;检测装置依次向每股钢丝绳发出脉冲信号,检测其余各股钢丝绳的回波信号的脉宽、周期以及脉冲个数;计算每股回波信号与所发出脉冲信号的误差百分比;将误差百分比与预设的阈值进行对比,判断是否在正常范围内,如果是,则对应该接收脉冲信号的钢丝绳没有断股,如果否,则对应该接收脉冲信号的钢丝绳判定为断股。一种电梯曳引钢带断股检测装置,包括:微控制单元、保护装置及脉冲采集器,脉冲采集器采集微控制单元发出的回波信号并将其传输至微控制单元中。本发明具有检测效率高、检测效果好的优点。
