The invention belongs to the technical field of combustible gas detection, and particularly relates to a close-range accurate combustible gas detection robot which comprises a gas suction detection mechanism, a walking mechanism and a cleaning mechanism. The walking mechanism comprises a robot body, a first telescopic device, a second telescopic device and a driver. The robot body and the first telescopic device are connected with the driver, and the second telescopic device is connected with the robot body. The first telescopic device comprises a first chuck attached to the outer wall of a tank body, the second telescopic device comprises a second chuck attached to the outer wall of the tank body, the first chuck is communicated with a vacuum chamber of an air suction detection mechanismthrough a first valve, and the second chuck is communicated with the vacuum chamber of the air suction detection mechanism through a second valve; and under the driving action of the driver, the firsttelescopic device and the second telescopic device can both automatically walk along the outer wall of the detected tank body, and the first chuck and the second chuck can both move to the area, cleaned by the cleaning mechanism, of the outer wall of the tank body for negative-pressure adsorption.
