An autonomous floor traversing robot according tothe present invention comprises: a chassis defining an internal compartment; a drive operable to move the chassis on a floor surface; a cover extending through at least a portion of the internal compartment; and a button panel coupled to an inner surface of the cover, the button panel including: a substantially planar base; a flexible seal located within the base; and a disc secured by the flexible seal, the disc positioned over a button in an internal compartment of the chassis.
