The invention relates to an electric vehicle charging pile parking space management system and a control method thereof. The system comprises an intelligent terminal, a man-machine interaction unit, acharging service platform, a parking space management terminal and a parking space lock. The intelligent terminal sends a reservation request to the charging service platform, and the charging service platform sends a verification code to the intelligent terminal and the parking space management terminal or sends a first control instruction to the parking space management terminal according to user information and a user request uploaded by the man-machine interaction unit; the intelligent terminal sends the verification code to the parking space management terminal; the parking space management terminal generates a verification result according to the verification code sent by the charging service platform and the intelligent terminal, and issues a second control instruction to the parking space lock; the parking space lock adjusts a running state and uploads vehicle detection information to the parking space management terminal; and the parking space management terminal issues a locking instruction to the parking space lock, and the parking space lock adjusts the running state. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, a parking and charging integrated serviceof an electric vehicle can be realized.
