The invention relates to a traffic road condition determination method and electronic equipment. According to one embodiment, the method comprises the following steps: receiving and caching geographicposition data flow of a plurality of vehicles; obtaining respective geographical position data of the plurality of vehicles passing through a specified road section in a specified time period from the geographical position data flow; obtaining a corresponding moving speed according to the geographic position data of the plurality of vehicles; obtaining a weighted average moving speed according tothe weights and the moving speeds corresponding to the plurality of vehicles; and obtaining traffic road condition information of the corresponding road section according to the weighted average moving speed. The scheme provided by the invention can improve the processing speed, and has the advantage of good real-time performance.
