A variable-diameter traction wheel for rope rail type lifting equipment comprises wheel arc blocks, connecting rod mechanisms, a hub, a shaft sleeve and a limiting pin. The hub is arranged on the shaft sleeve through the limiting pin, and the plurality of connecting rod mechanisms are rotationally arranged on the periphery of the hub. Each wheel arc block is rotationally arranged on the corresponding connecting rod mechanism. Rope grooves are formed in the outer sides of the wheel arc blocks. Two groove structures are formed at the inner diameter position of each wheel arc block and hinged toone ends of the corresponding connecting rod mechanisms, and the other ends of the connecting rod mechanisms are hinged to the periphery of the hub. The hub comprise an outer hub body and an inner hubbody, the inner hub body is fixedly arranged at the inner end of the shaft sleeve, and the outer hub body is slidably arranged at the outer end of the shaft sleeve. The variable-diameter traction wheel for the rope rail type lifting equipment has higher load capacity and efficiency, can better adapt to operation in different environments, and is particularly suitable for occasions with strict requirements on volume or space as the required axial space is reduced, the stability of an aerial posture is easy to maintain, the requirement for a guide pressing mechanism is reduced, and the adjustment operation time of the whole equipment is shortened.
