The invention discloses an automobile bumper capable of buffering and absorbing energy. The bumper comprises an automobile body connecting lever, a shock absorber, a middle lever, a buffer energy-absorbing interlayer and a bumper body. The automobile bumper is characterized in that the automobile body connecting lever is detachably connected with an automobile body, one end of the shock absorber is fixedly connected with the automobile body connecting lever, the middle lever is fixedly connected with the other end of the shock absorber, the buffer energy-absorbing interlayer is detachably connected with the middle lever, and the bumper body of the bumper is detachably connected with the buffer energy-absorbing interlayer. The bumper adopts two energy-absorbing structures, namely the bufferenergy-absorbing interlayer and the shock absorber, so that the corresponding buffering energy-absorbing effect can be achieved no matter in low-speed collision or in high-speed collision; passengersin a vehicle and pedestrians outside the vehicle can be protected optimally in collision; and the bumper is convenient to replace and low in maintenance cost.
