The invention provides a worm and gear gap adjusting structure. The structure is used in a worm and gear speed reducer for an electric power steering device. A worm gear mounting cavity and a worm mounting cavity are formed in a speed reducer shell, a worm gear and a worm gear shaft are mounted in the worm gear mounting cavity through bearing supporting, the two ends of the worm are supported in aworm through deep groove ball bearings, the worm and the worm gear are engaged, through an adjusting nut, the axial backlash of the deep groove ball bearings can be adjusted, the axial gap between the worm and the worm gear can be adjusted, through a pressing block nut and an arc pressing block, the radial backlash of the deep groove ball bearings can be adjusted, the radial gap between the wormand the worm gear can be adjusted, the idea is created, the axial backlash and the radial backlash of the deep groove ball bearings are adopted for achieving gap adjusting of the worm and the worm gear, the tangent force influences can be overcome, the noise can be reduced n the worm and gear motion process, a car ECU signal can be collected more precisely, and the reliability of the worm and gearoperation can be effectively improved.

    本发明提出了一种蜗轮蜗杆间隙调整结构,用于电动助力转向器用蜗轮蜗杆减速器中,其方案是:在减速器壳体上设有涡轮安装腔、蜗杆安装腔,涡轮与涡轮轴通过轴承支撑安装于蜗轮安装腔内,蜗杆两端通过深沟球轴承支撑在蜗杆中,蜗杆与涡轮啮合,通过调整螺母调整深沟球轴承的轴向游隙,从而调整蜗杆与涡轮之间的轴向间隙,通过压块螺母、弧面压块调整深沟球轴承的径向向游隙,从而调整蜗杆与涡轮之间的径向间隙。本发明创新思路,采用深沟球轴承本身存在的轴向游隙、径向游隙实现蜗轮蜗杆间隙调整,能克服受切向力影响,在涡轮蜗杆运动过程中能降低噪音,汽车ECU信号采集更精准,且能有效提高蜗轮蜗杆运行的可靠性。
