The invention relates to an energy absorption protection mechanism of an automobile steering column and belongs to the technical field of automobile steering systems. Assembly grooves are symmetrically arranged in two sides of an installation support of the automobile steering column. A U-shaped opening is arranged in each assembly groove; and a pull-off lock is movably clamped in the assembly groove through the U-shaped opening, a tearing piece fixing hole is arranged in the assembly groove of the end of the U-shaped opening, one end of a tearing piece is fixedly connected with the installation support through a fastening nail and the tearing piece fixing hole, and the other end of the tearing piece penetrates through the pull-off lock through a fixing bolt and is fixedly connected with across beam connecting plate. According to the energy absorption protection mechanism of the automobile steering column, problems that a crumple retention force is insufficient due to a fact that a peak value of a crumple force is too high and secondary injury to a driver is easily caused is solved; and under a condition that an existing tubular column main body structure is not changed, the crumple retention force is effectively improved by additionally arranging the tearing piece, the crumple retention force is kept stable, and the mechanism is particularly suitable for being used in assembly of the automobile steering column.

    本发明涉及涉及一种汽车转向管柱的吸能保护机构,属汽车转向系统技术领域,汽车转向管柱的安装支架两侧对称设置有装配凹槽,装配凹槽上设置有U型口,装配凹槽上通过U型口活动卡装有拉脱锁,U型口端头的装配凹槽上设置有撕裂件固定孔,撕裂件一端由固紧钉通过撕裂件固定孔与安装支架固定连接,撕裂件另一端由固定螺栓穿过拉脱锁与横梁连接板固定连接。该汽车转向管柱的吸能保护机构解决了现有因溃缩力峰值过高而导致溃缩保持力不足,极易对驾驶员造成二次伤害的问题在不改变现有管柱主体结构情况下,通过加装撕裂件有效提升了溃缩保持力,并使溃缩保持力保持稳定,特别适用于汽车转向管柱装配使用。
