The invention provides a suspension type train. The suspension type train comprises steel rails, carriages and a carriage control system; the top of the carriage is electromagnetically matched with asteel rail; the electromagnetic control end of the carriage is connected with the carriage control system so that the carriage can be arranged below the steel rail in a suspended mode; the carriage isconnected with a first power mechanism; the carriage control system is in control connection with the first power mechanism; the carriage comprises a walking mechanism which is rotatably arranged atthe bottom of the carriage and arranged in the running direction of the carriage, a brake mechanism located below the carriage, and a second power mechanism connected with the brake mechanism; the carriage control system is in control connection with the second power mechanism so that the walking mechanism can contact with the brake mechanism and move reversely to brake the carriage. According tothe suspension type train of the invention, the problems of untimely emergency brake and low stability of the suspension type train are solved.
