The invention relates to the technical field of monitoring and transmission of brake cylinders and further discloses a railway vehicle air brake fault monitoring device. The device comprises a plurality of carriage wireless pressure sensors, along-the-way wireless ID collectors and a railway management system; the output end of each carriage wireless pressure sensor is connected with the input endof the along-the-way wireless ID collectors in a wireless mode; the output end of the along-the-way wireless ID collectors is connected with the input end of the railway management system in a limited transmission mode through RS232 and Ethernet ports. According to the railway vehicle air brake fault monitoring device of the invention, the RFID and the wireless along-the-way ID collectors are customized, so that it is guaranteed that the detection and collection system has a full-special customized effect, meanwhile, the system has ultrahigh frequency, a special working mode, stable high andlow temperature, water resistance, shock resistance, high interference resistance, high speed, ultralow power consumption, high reliability, a long service life-oriented collector, reliability, a special amplified energy wide-angle storage unit, a high-speed sensing and corresponding units.
