The calculation method comprises the following steps: calculating a first fuel volume when a vehicle is powered on and a second fuel volume when the vehicle is powered off in a previous driving period according to resistance value information of a fuel tankliquid level sensor; calculating a third fuel volume when the vehicle is powered on in the current driving period according to the resistance value information of the fuel tank liquid level sensor; judging whether fuel is filled between the previous driving period and the current driving period or not; if so, taking a difference between the first fuel volume and the second fuel volume as fuel consumption of the previous driving period; otherwise, taking the difference between the first fuel volume and the third fuel volume as the fuel consumption of the previous driving period. According to the fuel consumption calculation method and the vehicle, accuracy of the fuel consumption can be improved.
