The invention discloses a heavy-object lifting system based on gears and a crank rocker. The system comprises a belt gear transmission unit and a crank rocker transmission unit, wherein the belt geartransmission unit comprises a driving pulley, a belt, a driven pulley, a first bearing base, a second bearing base, a third bearing base, a fourth bearing base, a first gear shaft, a first gear, a second gear and a second gear shaft; and the crank rocker transmission unit comprises a third gear, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, a fifth bearing base, a sixth bearing base and a loadgear shaft. A transmission part is driven by the belt, and the belt slips in an overload state, so that an overload protection effect is achieved; and through the gears, the heavy-object lifting system based on the gears and the crank rocker is simple in structure, and relevant components such as the gears can be matched with appropriate models so as to adapt to different lifting fields. The wholestructure is stable, maintenance and management are easy, and transmission efficiency is high.
