The bus route toughness evaluation method comprises the following steps of: S1, a data acquisition step; S2, a data preprocessing step; S3, a step of calculating arrival time of an intermediate station; S4, a judgment step, which is implemented by acquiring a vehicle arrival time intermediate table according to processedstatic basic data and dynamic real-time data, clustering arrival time in the vehicle arrival time intermediate table by using an algorithm, and calculating ought-to-arrive time of the intermediate station; and S5, a toughness index calculation step, which is implemented by calculating a recovery degree and recovery time from a collapse state to a stable state, and calculating a toughness index according to the recovery degree and the recovery time. According to the bus route toughness evaluation method and the system, available data is fully utilized to mine effective operation information, and the bus route toughness evaluation method is constructed; historical data can be subjected to toughness mining analysis, and real-time data can be subjected to toughness calculation and monitoring,so that decision support is provided for bus route adjustment and optimization.
