The invention relates to an ion wind propulsion aircraft and a propulsion method thereof. Ion engine supports fixed relative to a fuselage and/or wings are arranged below the wings on the two sides ofthe fuselage of the aircraft. An electrode array which is distributed in a stacked manner is fixedly arranged in the ion engine bracket; each group of electrode arrays is arranged front and back relative to the lower part of the wing, each electrode unit in each group of electrode arrays comprises a fine metal wire with the front part as a positive electrode and a wing surface with the rear partas a negative electrode, and an electrical part for providing electric energy for the electrode arrays in the ion engine and ionizing each electrode unit to form ion wind is arranged in the fuselage.The propelling method comprises the following steps: voltage difference is generated between the fine metal wires of each electrode unit in the electrode array and the wing surface by electric energy;electrons ionized from the periphery of the positive electrode are gathered and absorbed to the positive electrode, ions are emitted from the positive electrode, are guided to the negative electrodeby the electric field and are accelerated, neutral air molecules in air are collided to form the ionic wind, which is used as aircraft propulsion power. The ion wind propulsion aircraft is low in noise and is environment-friendly, energy-saving and pollution-free.

    本发明涉及一种离子风推进飞机及其推进方法,该飞机机身两侧机翼下方设有相对于机身和/或机翼固定的离子引擎支架,离子引擎支架中固定设有层叠分布的电极阵列,各组电极阵列相对于机翼下方呈前后排列,且每组电极阵列中的各电极单元均包括前部作为正极的细金属丝和后部作为负极的翼面,机身内设有用于对离子引擎中电极阵列提供电能,并使各电极单元电离形成离子风的电气部分。推进方法为:由电能使电极阵列中各电极单元的细金属丝与翼面之间产生电压差,正极周围电离出的电子纷纷向正极聚集并被吸收,离子从正极发射,被电场引向负极并加速,碰撞空气中的中性空气分子形成离子风,即作为飞机推进动力,不仅噪音小,能源环保,无污染。
