The invention provides a walking mechanism for a ship bottom cleaning robot and the ship bottom cleaning robot. The walking mechanism comprises a main frame, an electrical bin, a magnetic attraction wheel assembly, a walking driving assembly and a steering driving assembly. The electrical bin is fixedly installed on the main frame and connected with an overwater control platform through a cable, the overwater control platform transmits signals to the electrical bin, and the electrical bin is electrically connected with the walking driving assembly and the steering driving assembly; the magnetic attraction wheel assembly comprises a first magnetic attraction wheel, a second magnetic attraction wheel, a third magnetic attraction wheel and a fourth magnetic attraction wheel, the first magnetic attraction wheel and the second magnetic attraction wheel are fixedly installed on the right side of the main frame, and the third magnetic attraction wheel and the fourth magnetic attraction wheelare fixedly installed on the left side of the main frame; and the steering driving assembly is in transmission connection with the first magnetic attraction wheel, the second magnetic attraction wheel, the third magnetic attraction wheel and the fourth magnetic attraction wheel, and the steering driving assembly independently makes the first magnetic attraction wheel, the second magnetic attraction wheel, the third magnetic attraction wheel and the fourth magnetic attraction wheel synchronously complete a steering action on a ship body.
