The invention relates to the technical field of bionic underwater robots, in particular to a bionic jellyfish underwater robot. The robot comprises a hemispherical module, a columnar body and a propelling unit which is located at the bottom of the robot; the semispherical module comprises an arc flexible shell, a direction adjusting unit and an isolation supporting unit; the interior of the direction adjusting unit trends to be recessed inwards; a steel ball is placed in the center of the direction adjusting unit; four electromagnets and V-shaped grooves are evenly distributed along the circumference of the direction adjusting unit; the flexible shell and the direction adjusting unit form a closed space; the steel ball moves in the space; the columnar body comprises a control unit, a fixedly-connected shell and a driving unit; a power source and a single-chip microcomputer are arranged in the control unit; the propulsion of the bionic jellyfish robot is achieved. The bionic jellyfish underwater robot has the advantages of few driving source, simple structure, good stability, high flexibility and the like.
