The invention discloses an infrared vehicle-mounted thermal imager. The thermal imager comprises an adjusting mechanism, a thermal imager main body, a protection mechanism and a connecting rod. The adjusting mechanism is arranged above the thermal imager main body, a protection mechanism is mounted at the bottom end, and connecting rods are integrally arranged on and protrude from the two side walls of the thermal imager main body and are connected with the protection mechanism. The adjusting mechanism at least comprises a top plate, a telescopic pipe positioned at the bottom of a bottom plateand fixing blocks which are arranged at the two sides of the telescopic pipe and are rotationally connected with the telescopic pipe. The two groups of fixing blocks are symmetrically distributed, are fixedly connected with the upper surfaced of the thermal imager main body, and equipped with the rotating holes allowing a connecting shaft to penetrate through. The connecting shaft is horizontallyarranged, the two ends of the connecting shaft penetrate through the rotating holes to be rotationally connected with the fixing blocks, an annular adhesive tape is further arranged on the upper surface of the top plate, and the protection mechanism at least comprises a bottom plate, a connecting plate, stand columns and protection pads. The infrared vehicle-mounted thermal imager is high in safety protection performance, is stable and reliable to use and is capable of being widely popularized.
