The invention provides a variable-capacitance tire thickness sensor which comprises a capacitance sensing unit and a controller, the capacitance sensing unit comprises two conductive electrodes and aninsulating medium arranged between the two conductive electrodes, and the capacitance sensing unit is arranged or integrally formed on the surface of a tire. The controller is electrically connectedto the two conductive electrodes of the capacitance sensing unit, detects the capacitance value between the two conductive electrodes to obtain the capacitance value of the two conductive electrodes,and calculates and obtains the thickness of the tire according to the capacitance value.

    本发明提供一种变容式轮胎厚度传感器,包括一电容感测单元、以及一控制器。该电容感测单元包括二导电电极、及设置于二该导电电极之间的绝缘介质,该电容感测单元是设置或一体成形于轮胎表面。该控制器是电气连接至该电容感测单元的二该导电电极,并检测二该导电电极之间的电容值,以获取二该导电电极的电容值,并由该电容值计算并获得轮胎厚度。
