The battery replacement station comprises a battery compartment, a positioning device and a locking and unlocking device, wherein the battery compartment comprises a storage rack for storing batteries; the positioning device is configured to position a vehicle parked on the positioning device to a preset position and then lift the vehicle; the locking and unlocking device can move back and forth between the battery compartment and the positioning device and can exchange batteries with the battery compartment so as to replace the batteries for the vehicle lifted by the positioning device; the battery compartment comprises a temporary storage devicefor exchanging batteries with the locking and unlocking device, and the temporary storage device is configured to temporarily storing a power-lack battery after receiving the power-lack battery takenout from the vehicle by the locking and unlocking device, and provide a fully-charged battery for the locking and unlocking device. According to the battery replacement station provided by the invention, the temporary storage device can receive the fully-charged battery in advance after temporarily storing the received power-lack battery, and the fully-charged battery is given to the locking andunlocking device, so that quick completion of battery replacement operation is facilitated, the waiting time of customers is shortened, and the battery replacement efficiency and the user experience are improved.
