The present invention relates to a civil engineering vehicle tire in which the tread comprises a rubber composition based on at least one elastomer matrix comprising 50 to 100 phr of a styrene-butadiene copolymer and 0 to 50 phr of isoprene elastomer; a reinforcing filler mainly containing carbon black having a specific surface area CTAB of at least 90 m2/g; 1 to 30 phr of at least one hydrocarbonresin mainly composed of aromatic and cycloaliphatic monomer units, said resin having an aromatic proton content of 0 to 12%, an ethylenic proton content of more than 3%, a number average molecular weight of more than 500 g/mol, and a polydispersity index of more than 2; and a crosslinking system.
