The invention discloses a tunnel driving assistance system and method based on visible light communication. The assistance system comprises a vehicle-mounted module and a roadside module; the vehicle-mounted module comprises a vehicle-mounted control module, a vehicle-mounted visible light communication sending module and a vehicle-mounted visible light communication receiving module; a vehicle headlamp serves as the vehicle-mounted visible light communication sending module; a vehicle rear lamp serves as the vehicle-mounted visible light communication receiving module; a photoelectric detector is installed at the position of the vehicle rear lamp; the roadside module comprises a roadside control module and a roadside visible light communication sending module; a tunnel illuminating lamp serves as a roadside visible light communication sending module; the tunnel illuminating lamp and the vehicle rear lamp form visible light communication between the roadside module and a vehicle; the vehicle-mounted control module calculates the distance between a transmitting end and a receiving end according to the intensity of visible light signals received by the photoelectric detector; the roadside control module obtains the running speed of the vehicle according to the distance between the adjacent roadside modules and the time when the same vehicle passes through the adjacent roadside modules; and safety early warning for vehicles running in a tunnel is achieved.

    本发明公开了一种基于可见光通信的隧道行车驾驶辅助系统及方法,该辅助系统包括车载模块和路侧模块,车载模块包括车载控制模块、车载可见光通信发送模块和车载可见光通信接收模块,车辆前灯作为车载可见光通信发送模块,车辆后灯作为车载可见光通信接收模块,在车辆后灯处安装有光电探测器;路侧模块包括路侧控制模块和路侧可见光通信发送模块,隧道照明灯作为路侧可见光通信发送模块;隧道照明灯与车辆后灯形成路侧模块与车辆之间的可见光通信。车载控制模块根据光电探测器接收到的可见光信号强弱来计算收发两端距离,路侧控制模块通过相邻路侧模块的距离和同一车辆经过相邻路侧模块的时间,得到车辆行驶速度,实现车辆在隧道行驶的安全预警。
