The invention discloses an elevator door lock grounding fault detecting and positioning method. The method comprises the following steps that initial measurement is carried out, specifically, a current value IA flowing through an elevator landing door lock relay coil and a current value IA1 flowing through a landing door lock of a lowest floor are separately measured under the operation of an overhaul state; difference value calculation is carried out, specifically, a current difference value delta I = IA-IA1 is calculated according to the current value IA and the current value IA1; and faultjudgment is carried out, specifically, when delta I is larger than or equal to IKmin, a dichotomy is adopted for positioning the grounding fault of the elevator door lock, when delta I is smaller thanIKmin, the elevator door lock has no grounding fault, detection is finished, and IKmin is the minimum driving current for attraction of an elevator landing door lock relay. According to the method, the elevator door lock grounding fault can be conveniently and rapidly detected, the floor where the fault is located can be accurately positioned, the discovery rate of potential safety hazards can beincreased, maintenance can be guided conveniently, serious influences on on-site operation can be avoided, and the actual application value can be improved.
