The invention provides a spherical robot, belongs to the technical field of robots and solves problems that an existing spherical robot is poor in protection capacity and poor in trafficability. The spherical robot comprises a spherical shell, wherein a supporting shaft horizontally extending in the radial direction of the spherical shell is fixedly connected into the spherical shell, the supporting shaft is sleeved with a connecting base, the connecting base is provided with a driving assembly used for driving the supporting shaft to rotate around the central axis of the connecting base and an adjusting assembly used for adjusting the position of the gravity center, and the gravity center of the whole formed by the connecting base, the driving assembly and the adjusting assembly is located under the central axis of the supporting shaft. The spherical robot has advantages of being simple and reliable in structure, capable of driving the spherical shell to flexibly move according to a preset track by utilizing the gravity center shift and angular momentum conservation principle, good in trafficability, high in protection capacity and the like.
