The invention discloses a double-station stacking machine and a battery replacing method. The double-station stacking machine comprises a first push-out mechanism and a second push-out mechanism. Thefirst push-out mechanism is used for taking and placing a fully-charged battery pack, and the second push-out mechanism is used for taking and placing a power-lack battery pack; and the first push-outmechanism and the second push-out mechanism are respectively controlled. The double-station stacker crane is adopted by the battery replacing method. The double-station stacking machine is provided with the two push-out mechanisms, one push-out mechanism can take the power-lack battery packs, the other push-out mechanism can put the power-lack battery packs fully, so that the procedure that batteries are repeatedly placed in the battery replacing process of the stacking machine is avoided, and the battery replacing efficiency is improved. According to the battery replacing method, the procedure of repeatedly placing the batteries in the battery replacing process of the stacking machine is omitted, and the battery replacing efficiency is improved.
