The invention discloses an automatic power-off device for an electric vehicle charger, and relates to the technical field of electric vehicle charging. The device comprises a bottom plate for placingan electric vehicle charger, a clamping plate for covering the electric vehicle charger, and a power-off controller for connecting the electric vehicle charger; the left end of the bottom plate and the left end of the clamping plate are connected with an elastic tensioning rope; the right end of the bottom plate and the right end of the clamping plate are detachably connected with an elastic pullrope; a plurality of through holes are uniformly distributed in the clamping plates; the bottom of the clamping plate is provided with a plurality of upper supporting rods used for downwards abuttingagainst an electric vehicle charger. The power-off controller is connected with a color identification sensor used for identifying the color of the electric vehicle charger indicating lamp. The colorrecognition sensor comprises a pin-shaped shell, a probe connected to one end of the pin-shaped shell and a limiting protrusion connected to the outer wall of the pin-shaped shell, and the pin-shapedshell can penetrate through any through hole to enable the probe to extend into the upper portion of the electric vehicle charger. The automatic power-off function can be achieved when the electric vehicle charger is fully charged.
