The invention discloses a high-power charging connector cooling device for a new energy automobile. The high-power charging connector cooling device comprises a cable, a cooling fin, a thermoelectricrefrigeration sheet, a refrigeration disc, a cooling inner pipe, an outer pipe and a terminal cooling disc; the cooling inner pipe is designed in the cable, penetrates through the refrigeration disc and then is connected with the terminal cooling disc in a sealed mode, a hollow flow channel is formed in the terminal cooling disc, and a leakage detection sensor is arranged between the terminal cooling disc and the refrigeration disc; a thermoelectric refrigeration sheet and a cooling fin are bonded to the upper surface of the refrigeration disc to fully refrigerate the cooling liquid; and the cooling device has the advantages of the high heat dissipation speed, leakage pollution prevention and convenient leakage detection.
