The invention relates to the field of aircrafts, and firstly provides a flapping wing mechanism with a suspension type gliding function. The flapping wing mechanism comprises a whole parasol wing, a front operation plane and a rear operation plane which are in bilateral symmetry, and the parasol wing comprises a front spar, a rear spar, a plurality of ribs and a wing film; the upper ends of the front operation plane and the rear operation plane are rotationally connected with the parasol wing at the front wing beam and the rear wing beam respectively; and the upper end of the front operation plane is rotationally connected with the parasol wing and then continues to extend upwards by a part. In the flying process, loads are hung below the parasol wing through the front operation plane andthe rear operation plane respectively. According to the flapping wing mechanism, the energy utilization efficiency in the flapping wing process can be further improved, and flapping wing flight with higher efficiency is realized; when the flapping wing mechanism is used as a suspension type gliding mechanism, the flapping wing mechanism has the advantages of being safer than a paraglider and lighter than a delta wing. The invention further provides a manual flapping wing aircraft applying the flapping wing mechanism. The manual flapping wing aircraft has all the advantages of the flapping wingmechanism.
