The invention relates to a four-wheel steering mechanism, which comprises a front wheel assembly, a rear wheel assembly and a linkage assembly. The linkage assembly comprises a first traction piece with a front end connected with the front wheel assembly and a rear end connected with the rear wheel assembly, and a second traction piece with the front end connected with the front wheel assembly andthe rear end connected with the rear wheel assembly. The front end of the first traction piece is located on the left side, the front end of the second traction piece is located on the right side, the rear end of the first traction piece is located on the right side, and the rear end of the second traction piece is located on the left side. According to the four-wheel steering mechanism, by arranging the linkage assembly, the front wheel assembly can drive the rear wheel assembly to steer in the opposite direction at the same time in the steering process, the overall turning radius of the four-wheel steering mechanism is greatly reduced, and therefore turning operation is more flexible. The four-wheel steering mechanism can be applied to various types of scooters, such as scooters, disabled scooters and knee scooters.
