This flying object safety device (90) is provided with a deployable body (86) and an ejection device (88). The ejection device (88) has: a container (80) that accommodates the deployable body (86) andhas an opening provided at one end; a moving member (81) that is provided within the container (80) and movable along the inner wall of the container and has, toward the opening, a launcher (83) on which the deployable body (86) is placed; and a drive unit (84) that moves the moving member (81) toward the opening and thereby ejects the deployable body (86). A space (S) is located, as viewed fromthe launcher (83), on the side opposite of the side with the opening, is formed by being surrounded by the container (80) and the moving member (81), and communicates with a space on the outside of the space (S) via a communicating portion (51).
