The invention discloses an intelligent monitoring system for an electric connector of a common passenger transport quick train and a motor train unit. The system comprises a train electric connector intelligent monitor, a PC terminal, a cloud calculation center and a plurality of intelligent sensors, wherein the output end of the intelligent sensor is connected with the input end of the train electric connector intelligent monitor, the PC terminal is connected with the train electric connector intelligent monitor, the PC terminal and the train electric connector intelligent monitor are connected with the train network through the Ethernet, and the PC terminal and the train electric connector intelligent monitor are connected with the cloud calculation center through the 3G/4G network. Thesystem analyzes the collected data, can carry out early warning on connector faults in advance, can be widely applied to high-speed trains and common high-speed trains, and can effectively avoid potential safety hazards caused by internal heating of an electric connector due to poor contact of an existing passenger car electric connector.
