The invention belongs to the field of aircraft aerodynamic design. The method comprises the following steps: in the appearance design of the fairing, a quadratic curve is adopted as a control line ofa plurality of sections in X, Y and Z directions of a space, a curved surface is generated to be communicated with an airplane body, and a plurality of antenna array fairing appearance schemes with streamline property are formed; and finally, determining an antenna array fairing appearance scheme with the optimal aerodynamic characteristics through a method of combining numerical simulation and wind tunnel test verification. The fairing obtained through the design method has the advantages that the antenna array can be completely enveloped, certain gap requirements are met, normal use of electrical performance is not affected, aerodynamic resistance is small, local airflow separation is weak, and eddy currents do not occur locally, and test flight verification shows that the antenna arrayfairing is excellent in aerodynamic characteristic.
