The invention discloses an elevator buffer device with a high safety performance. The device comprises a first mounting plate, a second mounting plate and a base, a plurality of sets of high-strengthdamping springs are mounted between the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate, a guide column is mounted between every two adjacent high-strength damping springs, a plurality of sets of buffer oil cylinders are mounted between the second mounting plate and the base, and the upper end of buffering oil cylinder is connected with lower end face of second mounting plate through bufferingcushion. The elevator buffering device is novel in structural design, good in buffering performance and slow in rebound after buffering, secondary damage can be reduced, and the elevator buffering device can effectively guarantee the safety of personnel in an elevator.
