The invention discloses a road parking space state identification method based on a millimeter wave radar. The method comprises the steps of adopting a radar module to transmit and receive the returned detection waves, and processing the returned detection waves to obtain the plots with radial velocity vector Vi, distance rho i and angle theta i information; calculating a longitudinal distance YLof the target according to the distance Rho mean and the angle theta mean of the target, and screening the suspected parking vehicles according to the longitudinal distance YL of the target and the radial velocity vector Vmean of the target; calculating a plot distance variance D of the suspected parking vehicle, and judging whether the suspected parking vehicle is a maneuvering parking vehicle ornot according to the plot distance variance D of the suspected parking vehicle; and judging the state of the parking space according to the target radial velocity vector Vmean and the longitudinal distance YL. According to the invention, the interference of vehicles passing through the motor vehicle lane outside the parking frame can be avoided, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles can be effectively distinguished, the driving-in/stable parking/driving-out actions of vehicle parking can be effectively judged, and vehicles which pass through and do not occupy parking spaces can be avoided.

    本发明公开一种基于毫米波雷达的道路车位状态识别方法。该方法包括采用雷达模组发射并接收返回的探波,将返回的探波处理获得带径向速度矢量V、距离ρ和角度θ信息的点迹;根据目标的距离ρ和角度θ计算目标纵向距离YL,根据目标纵向距离YL和目标径向速度矢量V筛选疑似泊车车辆;计算疑似泊车车辆的点迹距离方差D,根据疑似泊车车辆的点迹距离方差D判断疑似泊车车辆是否为机动泊车车辆;根据目标径向速度矢量V和纵向距离YL判断车位状态。本发明可避免停车框外的机动车道行经车辆干扰,有效区分出机动车和非机动车,有效判断车辆的泊车的驶入/停稳/驶离动作,并规避经过并未占用车位的车辆。
