The invention relates to an automatic retarding control method and system. A sliding torque corresponding to a current latch vehicle speed is responded to if the distance between a vehicle and a fronttarget object is greater than a triggering distance; a coasting torque is calculated according to the difference value between the current vehicle speed and the latch vehicle speed and used for keeping the vehicle speed constant, and the initial latch vehicle speed is the vehicle speed when the vehicle enters a coasting state; if the distance between the vehicle and the front target object is smaller than the triggering distance and the braking distance, a motor responds to the braking torque to reduce the vehicle running speed; and if the distance between the vehicle and the front target object is smaller than the triggering distance and larger than the braking distance, the latch vehicle speed is updated by using the current vehicle speed. When the vehicle is in a coasting state, the coasting speed of the vehicle is adjusted by detecting the current vehicle speed and the distance between the vehicle and the front vehicle, so that the vehicle can go downhill at a constant speed as much as possible under the condition that the safe vehicle distance is guaranteed, and the problems of poor control stability and safety under the condition of long downhill in the prior art are solved.

    本发明涉及一种自动缓速控制方法及系统,若车辆与前方目标物的距离大于触发距离,则响应当前锁存车速对应的滑行扭矩;滑行扭矩根据当前车速与锁存车速的差值计算得到,用于使车速保持恒定,初始的锁存车速为车辆进入滑行状态时的车速;若车辆与前方目标物的距离小于触发距离且小于制动距离,电机响应制动扭矩以降低车辆行驶速度;若车辆与前方目标物的距离小于触发距离且大于制动距离,则用当前车速更新锁存车速。在车辆处于滑行状态时,通过对当前车速和与前车距离进行检测,对车辆的滑行速度进行调整,使车辆在保证安全车距的情况下尽可能地匀速下坡,解决了现有技术在长下坡情况下控制稳定性和安全性差的问题。
