The invention discloses a fish-wing-shaped floating type flow velocity meter and relates to the technical field of equipment for underwater living or operation in the transportation technology. A winding support bearing is embedded in a winding support ring, a threading hole is formed in the winding support bearing, a wire spool shaft is fixed at a lower end of a wire winding handle, an upper baffle is integrally formed at an upper end of the wire spool shaft, a lower baffle is integrally formed at a lower end of the wire spool shaft, a wiring lug is fixed to a side wall of a lower end of thewire spool shaft, an upper end and a lower end of a wire winding center shaft are connected into the wire spool shaft in a screwed mode through an upper wire winding bearing and a lower wire winding bearing, the wire winding center shaft and the wire winding handle are arranged in an up-down penetrating mode, and a plurality of wire winding supports are fixed to a bottom surface of the wire winding supporting ring. The meter is advantaged in that power of a natural river is effectively utilized, relative rest is formed, the flow velocity of fluid is measured, the balance can be kept, moreover,a purpose that a pull wire is automatically wound and unwound through the flow velocity meter can be achieved.
