The invention belongs to the field of travel and leisure riding equipment, and especially relates to a manufacturing and using method of a length-adjustable crank for travel riding. The crank comprises an upper crank section, a lower crank section and a limiting connection fixing spring pin. The upper crank section and the lower crank section are in sliding connection in an inserted mode and are fixedly connected through a limiting connection fixing spring pin, so the length of the crank can be adjusted and changed between 155 mm and 195 mm, and the purpose of improving the original changing capacity of a variable-speed vehicle can be achieved by conveniently adjusting the length of the crank in the using process; and the crank is convenient to use and reliable in functions.
