The invention relates to a satellite-based train vehicle-mounted speed measuring and positioning system and a method thereof. The system comprises a satellite positioning receiver, a wheel speed sensor and a vehicle-mounted host, and the satellite positioning receiver is responsible for receiving satellite signals in the air, performing differential correction and outputting speed and position information; the wheel speed sensor is installed on a walking shaft of a vehicle and is responsible for measuring the rotating angle of a wheel, obtaining the rotating angle speed of the wheel through periodic sampling and converting the diameter of the wheel to obtain the running speed of the vehicle; and the vehicle-mounted host is responsible for receiving and processing data of the satellite positioning receiver and the wheel speed sensor and finally outputting speed measuring and positioning results. Compared with like systems and methods in the prior art, the system and the method of the invention have the advantages of cost reduction, high positioning precision, high positioning speed and the like.

    本发明涉及一种基于卫星的列车车载测速定位系统及方法,该系统包括卫星定位接收机、轮速传感器和车载主机,所述的卫星定位接收机负责接收空中的卫星信号,进行差分修正并输出速度及位置信息;所述的轮速传感器安装在车辆的行走轴上,负责测量车轮的转动角度,并且通过周期性采样获得车轮旋转角速度,再通过车轮直径换算得到车辆行驶速度;所述的车载主机负责接收卫星定位接收机和轮速传感器的数据并进行处理,最后输出测速定位结果。与现有技术相比,本发明具有降低成本,定位精度高、定位速度快等优点。
