Provided are a rubber composition for a high grip tire having excellent steering stability, rolling resistance and wear resistance, a tire tread partially using said rubber composition, a bead filler,a tire belt and a pneumatic tire. The rubber composition for the high grip tire contains 0.1-90 parts by mass of a modified liquid diene-based rubber (B) having a functional group derived from a silane compound represented by formula (1), and 20-150 parts by mass of a filler (C) with respect to 100 parts by mass of a solid rubber (A) containing 60 mass% or more of a styrene butadiene rubber having a styrene content of at least 20 mass%, wherein the modified liquid diene-based rubber (B) satisfies the following conditions (i)-(ii) of (i) a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 15,000-120,000 and (ii) a vinyl content of 70 mol% or less.
