The invention discloses hoisting and carrying equipment for a construction site. The equipment comprises a lifting rod, a sealing cavity with an upward opening is formed in the lifting rod; a connecting rod is arranged in the sealing cavity in a sliding manner; the upper end of the connecting rod is connected to a crane jib; connecting grooves with opposite openings are formed in the lifting rod in a bilateral symmetry manner; and a transmission cavity is formed between the connecting grooves in a communicating mode. According to the invention, two lifting ropes can be used for connecting common heavy objects; four telescopic rods can also extend into through holes of a hollow plate to connect the hollow plate; the telescopic rods at the left side and the right side make contact in a through hole of the hollow plate, the potential safety hazard that the hollow plate falls during carrying is eliminated, a sliding piston is supported on the inner walls of the through hole, the hollow plate is prevented from moving leftwards and rightwards, and the hollow plate can be driven to rotate to adjust the placement position during placement.
