The invention discloses a rainy day driving safety guarantee method for an automatic driving vehicle. The method comprises the steps that: a camera obtains a real-time image of a windshield, and a light reaction type rainfall sensor collects the rainfall of the windshield and generates sensing rainfall data; a control unit receives the real-time image of the windshield, screens out a raindrop image with the smooth edge, ignores an invalid raindrop image, and analyzes and generates camera shooting rainfall data in real time; the control unit analyzes sensing rainfall data and camera shooting rainfall data to obtain a real-time rainfall grade; and the control unit reminds the corresponding vehicle safety speed according to the real-time rainfall grade. The rainfall grade is recognized through fusion of the camera and the light reaction type rainfall sensor, and the peer-to-peer relationship is established between the camera and the light reaction type rainfall sensor, so that the sensingcapacity of the vehicle is estimated according to the rainfall grade detected by the rainfall sensor in a rainy day environment and thus the maximum driving safety vehicle speed is limited; and the vehicle can accurately recognize obstacles and driving safety is guaranteed.

    本发明公开了一种自动驾驶车辆雨天行驶安全保障方法,摄像头获取挡风玻璃的实时图像,光反应式雨量传感器收集挡风玻璃的雨量并生成传感雨量数据;控制单元接收挡风玻璃的实时图像,并筛选出边缘平滑的雨滴图像,忽略无效雨滴图像,实时分析并生成摄像雨量数据;控制单元分析传感雨量数据和摄像雨量数据,得出实时雨量等级;控制单元根据实时雨量等级提醒相应的车辆安全速度。通过摄像头与光反应式雨量传感器融合识别雨量等级,通过两者之间建立对等关系,从而保证雨天环境下,根据雨量传感器探测到的雨量等级,预估车辆的感知能力,因此限定最大行驶安全车速,保证车辆能准确识别障碍物,保证行车安全。
