The invention discloses an intelligent charging pile management system and a working method thereof. The intelligent charging pile management system comprises an application server serving as a charging station control center, a communication module for realizing communication connection between an electric vehicle and a charging pile as well as between the electric vehicle and the charging station control center, the charging pile with a communication function, and a monitoring module for monitoring the communication quality between the application server and the charging pile. The intelligent charging pile management system has the beneficial effects that a charging pile safety charging current threshold value, a charging pile charging current protection threshold value, a charging piletemperature safety threshold value and a charging pile temperature alarm threshold value are set; the charging pile charging current protection threshold value is greater than the charging pile safetycharging current threshold value; the charging pile temperature safety threshold value is larger than the charging pile temperature alarm threshold value; and safety protection of the charging pile can be distinguished under different temperature adjustment and charging current conditions.
