The present disclosure provides "monitoring and adjustment of vehicle parking positions". A method and device for monitoring and adjusting the parking position of a vehicle are disclosed. An exemplaryvehicle includes a distance detection unit, a communication module, and a controller. The controller is used to identify the wake-up frequency of the distance detection sensor. The controller is alsoused to temporarily activate the distance detection sensor at the wake-up frequency when the vehicle is in the key off state, and determine whether to adjust the parking position based on the distance detection sensor. The controller is also used to send a notification to the user via the communication module in response to determining to adjust the parking position.
