The present invention relates to a crane, in particular a mobile crane having a closed hydraulic circuit (1), in which a hydraulic pump (2) is hydraulically connected to at least one hydraulic motor (3, 9) by means of a feed (4) and a discharge (5), and the feed (4) is hydraulically connected to the discharge (5) by means of at least one bypass (6A, 6B), which bypasses the at least one hydraulic motor (3, 9), the at least one bypass (6A, 6B) comprising a proportional valve (7A, 7B) for the variable control of the fluid flow bypassing the at least one hydraulic motor (3, 9). The present invention further relates to a corresponding control device and a corresponding crane control program for controlling a closed hydraulic circuit (1) of a crane.
